Microsorb

Description

Agilent Microsorb is the stationary phase of choice if your ultimate goal is preparative liquid chromatography. The Microsorb column line is made up of eight different phases to address all your application needs. The packing material in these columns is also available in our preparative columns and in bulk packing. Four particle sizes are available which offer even more flexibility in preparative applications. Most of the Microsorb phases are available in particle sizes of 3, 5, 8 and 10?m. The smaller the particle size, the higher the resolving power of the same dimension column, but remember that the backpressure on the column also increases. The question of backpressure is something that should be considered if your final application is preparative purification. Microsorb material is also available in three pore sizes; 60, 100 and 300?. Typically, 60 and 100? pore sizes are used for the analysis of small molecules with molecular weights less than 2,000. The 300? pore material is especially well suited for the analysis of biological compounds such as peptides and proteins.
